Who doesn't know the famous phrase "beam me up Scotty!"? I always felt this phrase would be cooler with "fill" in stead of "Beam".I could picture it already: A bar with an Star Trek like interior and a bartender who looks just like Scotty. The more he'd fill you up, the more you'd want to stay and listed to him. He is a man of all fields: science, history, philosophy, engineering, humour, politics, economics,... “fill me up Scotty!”
Technically we are able to produce all those products and services, socially we fail to distribute them fairly. Does this means engineers are using the wrong tools, or are the models of the economists worthless? I think I know the answer, but then again economists will say their models ensure that engineers can work… .
